Flowers and Bees Activities

This week we will be exploring some of nature's most special and precious creations - flowers and bees! There is a very important connection between flowers and bees. Do you know what it is?Flowers and bees have a very special relationship where they both rely on the other to take care of them. Flowers provide bees with nectar and pollen which they use to feed their whole families. Bees help flowers to reproduce (make new flowers) by spreading their pollen from flower to flower, this is called pollination.

I have seen some beautiful little flowers peeking out of the earth already along with some bumblebees buzzing around too! Get outside and see if you can spot some of these treasures of the springtime.

Work through these activities throughout the week and enjoy exploring the flowers and bees that you can see in the world around you too!

1. Counting and Coloring Flower Petals

2. 'B' is for Bee! Letter Practice

3. Egg Carton Flower Craft

4. Addition and Subtraction with Flowers and Bees

5. Finding Patterns in Flowers and BONUS Bee Science

Enjoy and have a great week :)
